A Quick Warmup
One of the limited edition DrinkPrize offerings at Madcap Coffee during ArtPrize. I don’t remember what was in it, but it had pistachio crumbles on top, and it was AMAZING.
Four baristas from RBC are trying to make a documentary on micro roasters and coffee culture on the west coast. We hope to film a series of shorts between L.A. and Vancouver that explore the diversity of artisan roasters that exist.
Handsome, Klatch, Ritual, Coava, Heart and 49th Parallel are among the wonderful companies that have agreed to let us tour their facilities. We will be filming interviews, coffee crawls and roastery tours to help expose the greater public to several small companies that are providing amazing coffees.
We have launched a Kickstarter fundraiser to raise money strictly for the production, filming and editing of this project. We filmed a little video to introduce you to the project and the staff which you can see here: RBC Goes West
We put together a fun list of incentives if you pledge, from a free coffee to t-shirts and mix tapes. Our project will only be funded if our goal of $3000 is met by August 21st. Every little bit helps, even $5.Pledge here: Kickstarter
Thanks for taking the time to check this out!
